About Krama Coaching Academy

Krama Coaching Academy was created to offer coach training and professional development that is both grounded and human.

We are a small, experienced team bringing together backgrounds in coaching, mentoring, supervision, education and wellbeing. Alongside professional standards and competency-based development, we value reflective practice, relational learning and supporting coaches as whole people -  not simply as a set of techniques or performance outcomes.

Our work is influenced not only by contemporary coaching approaches, but also by wider experience within supervision, mindfulness, somatic awareness, wellbeing and adult learning.

We believe coaching can be skilled, ethical and professionally rigorous whilst still remaining deeply human.

Dawn Wright

Founder & Lead Trainer

Dawn Wright is a coach, mentor coach, coach supervisor and trainer with over a decade of experience within the coaching profession, alongside more than 15 years working within the wider wellbeing and training space.

Her work brings together professional coaching standards with a relational, whole-person approach to development. Alongside her independent practice, Dawn has worked with coaches through training, mentoring and supervision roles across a range of professional settings and organisations.

Dawn is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), trained mentor coach and coach supervisor, with extensive experience supporting coaches at different stages of their development.

Before moving into full-time wellbeing and coaching work, Dawn worked within financial and business management roles, experience which continues to inform her grounded and practical approach to supporting professionals and business owners.

Alongside her coaching work, Dawn has spent more than 25 years teaching yoga and mindfulness-based practices, and has trained teachers internationally for many years. These experiences have shaped her interest in the connection between mindset, nervous system awareness, embodied practice and sustainable personal and professional development.

Mentors & Assessors

Our wider team supports trainees through mentoring, observed coaching feedback and developmental review throughout the programme.

This collaborative approach allows trainees to experience a breadth of perspectives and receive supportive, high-quality developmental feedback throughout their learning journey.
